Together with ShadowBall, Gauteng Touch is looking to upskill the most crucial of skills for touch rugby and the game of rugby as a whole: catch and pass.
The ShadowBall, a new spin on [touch] rugby, has been labelled not only as game changer, but also as one of the most innovative developments to the rugby ball ever since William Webb Ellis first picked one up and ran with it – 190 years ago!
The cornerstone of the game of rugby (read touch rugby) has always been the ability to catch and pass – accurately and swiftly, both left and right, whilst under pressure, and moving fast… and many a game has been lost by a dropped ball or a bad pass!
We are proud to announce that ShadowBall and Gauteng Touch Rugby Association have signed a two-year endorsement agreement that involves initiatives to jointly grow and up-skill touch rugby. Gauteng Touch has endorsed ShadowBall as one of the best ways to improve catching and passing skills in touch rugby circles in Gauteng.
